Matt Morscheck Receives Career Management Certification by International Board

Portland, OR – March 8, 2010 -- Matt Morscheck, by vote of an international board of Governors, has been certified as a Career Management Practitioner in recognition of his achievements in the field of Career Management. Kathy Blanton, CMF, Chair of the Institute for Career Certification (ICC) International made the announcement today.

Since joining Pathways/OI Partners in 2005, Mr. Morscheck has helped hundreds of professionals achieve greater success and satisfaction in their careers and lives. He maintains a part time private practice, and has taught career development courses at Clark College, Portland State University, and Portland Community College. Morscheck has also been recognized as a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors. In 2008, Morscheck was elected to the Executive Board of the Oregon Career Development Association and currently serves as the Communications Chair for the Oregon Counseling Association.

Mr. Morscheck holds an M.S. in Counseling from Portland State University, a B.A. in Business Administration from Washington State University, and has completed a post-graduate certificate in Human Resource Management.

ICC International is the only not-for-profit and independent certifying body for professionals in the career management field created in 1994 to ensure that such services were being delivered competently, ethically and to defined and verifiable standards.
